Welcome, one and all, to SNS Online’s brand new website – your One Stop Shop for all things… SNS!

For those of you who are familiar with what we do, welcome back, and we hope you approve of our new website! And for those who are SNS virgins, a little background info…

SNS Online began it’s life over 10 years ago as ‘ScratchNSniff’, a largely irreverent magazine/dance music LGBTQ show for national radio outlet, RTÉ, which ran for four years. Since then we have evolved into the podcast that caters for all things arts and lifestyle – exclusive/in-depth 1 to 1 interviews that allow us to explore an artist’s life and work in much greater detail (“rather than a three minute ‘blip-interview’ with five advert breaks”, to quote presenter, Nick Randell..!). And although these are shows you can enjoy whilst pumping iron at the gym, or simply on the move from A to B, we recommend a relaxing, comfortable environment where you can kick off your heels, pour a glass of something civilised and immerse yourselves in stimulating conversation through the lives of our many special guests, including international TV crime writer, Lynda La Plante CBE, guitar legend, Hank Marvin, arts/media mogel, Alan Yentob, award winning actor, Julie Hesmondhalgh, mental health campaigner, Jonny Benjamin MBE and many, many more.

So take a tour through our wide and diverse collection of material via our site and listen in to our exclusive range of in-depth interviews spanning the popular arts. Actors, writers, journalists, stand up comedians, musicians, and more – all feature!

And don’t forget you can also enjoy our shorter ‘Bitesized’ series, covering vibrant new theatre, television and book releases. Plus with our arts/style remit, you get to explore issue based topics focusing on health/mental health, women’s rights around the world, LGBTQ and more. Finally we offer mini-series strands and occasional 2 part extended features, as well as anniversary celebrations covering (amongst others) The Cavern Nightclub, and the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as television milestones like Doctor Who and Blue Peter. As Nick is often heard to say, “The world’s your lobster!”

Contact us with both your comments and suggestions for future guests. And don’t forget to read up on our blog – regularly updated with articles & photographs, for which everybody is welcome to contribute.
